For the last several months I've been noticing the Bible verses my boys have to memorize have been getting progressivly longer. To help them out, I've been writing the verses on cards they can use as book marks in their workbooks. Every morning I'll say, "Okay! Let's get out our memory verse and say them together!" I love media. I use it for just about everything . . .communicating with family, teaching lessons, reading books, looking up information, you get the picture. That commercial where the mom is looking on Google about a president for her daughter's costume would be typical day here. "Mom, what is such and such?" Out I whip my Tablet like some cowboy's six-shooter to find the information.

As this is my first blog post I thought I'd write a bit about my background. I was born and raised in California to a lawyer dad and a homemaker mom. My dad graduated from Stanford with a history degree and from USC with a law degree. From the time I can remember education was something engrained into me.
